isabelle mattern studio
Isabelle Mattern Studio is a visual communication design practice situated around graphic design, editorial/printed matter, typography, drawing, identity, as well as participatory projects and workshops. Between research, experimentation, concept and design development, each project is crafted in collaboration so as to create playful and adaptive communication tools in all kinds of shapes – from posters to flyers to books, from illustrations to notebooks to participatory installations. Open workshop sessions provide a platform to make, connect, learn, and explore creative processes. Isabelle Mattern is a creative from Luxembourg – after studies in Paris and London, she is working independently as a designer/artist, as well as a cultural mediator in museums and educational projects such as Centre Formida in Esch/Alzette. She is also part of the collaborative projects InProgress Asbl and Platforma.
