I create traditional illustrations inspired by wildlife, botanics, legends and myths, long forgotten times and old masters. I draw inspiration from antique sculptures, medieval bibles, Renaissance portraits, Baroque compositions, the darkness and beauty of Romanticism and from Jugendstil ornaments, to name just a few.

A part from private commissions, I also work with public businesses. My ambition is to create original and unique artwork suitable for all kinds of purposes, like book design and illustration, package and branding design, logo design, textile and merchandise products.

Having experience with commercial clients but always keeping the mindset of a self-employed artist, I try to bring the love for detail, handcraft and traditional arts to the greater consumer public.
